TIFA Uganda is supporting women based smallest businesses with finance for expansion and train them in records management to realize sustainable enterprises.
Green growth for Sustainable Development
TIFA Uganda is cognizant of the fact that Uganda’s agriculture sector is highly dependent on natural capital and vulnerable to environmental and climate changes. The sector faces deteriorating natural resources and is experiencing increased seasonal changes that include higher temperatures, dry spells, and more erratic rainfall patterns. TIFA Uganda is implementing the strategy to increase agri-food (crops, livestock, forestry, aquaculture, and fisheries) system resilience to environmental and climate change shocks; minimize carbon footprint and waste through the promotion of resource efficiency, sustainable utilization of natural resources and ecosystems, climate smart agricultural practices and waste management.
Support health promotion activities- HIV/AID
TIFA Uganda believes that when it comes to the fight against HIV/AIDS, awareness plays a critical role. We run community awareness through local radio talk show as well as newspapers about stories that educate people about prevention, non-discrimination and care.
